Bay Endodontics, a specialist dental practice based in Tauranga, is looking for a personable and professional Office Coordinator to join their small, friendly team.

This is a sole-charge position where your communication, admin and organisational skills will shine. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, and your role will help keep the day-to-day clinic operations running smoothly.

The role will initially be 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), with working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. From mid-August, it will transition to a 2-day-per-week job share arrangement, as the current employee returns from parental leave.

About the role:

  • Answering calls and managing patient enquiries
  • Booking and confirming appointments
  • Processing patient payments (ACC and private – no payment, no treatment policy)
  • Preparing and sending templated letters
  • General office administration and maintaining a tidy, welcoming space

What we’re looking for:

  • Friendly, professional phone manner and great interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation
  • Computer savvy – you’ll be trained on our specialist system (TDO)
  • Able to work independently and manage a sole-charge role confidently
  • Previous front desk, admin or medical experience is helpful, but not essential
